Coresight analysis described Black Friday 2020 as “the quietest in twenty years,” however sellers aren’t complaining as the length of the Christmas selling season has elevated due to the radical coronavirus pandemic. “The position of stores can be always modified,” observed Hilding Anderson, head of retail strategy, North america at Publicis Sapient. “They are getting increasingly relied on as success centers and experiential locations for amusement instead of for natural shopping.”
