Ascena Retail group receives k to promote chains to private fairness company

Ascena Retail has acquired court approval to proceed with the sale of Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, Loft and Lou & grey to Sycamore partners in a deal valued at round $1 billion. A U.S. bankruptcy court docket in Richmond, VA, gave its ok for the deal to proceed despite objections raised by means of the Justice department’s workplace of the U.S. Trustee.
